Celeste Ann Campbell

Celeste Ann Campbell passed away at home in Branson, Missouri, on March 2, 2021, after a 3-month battle with cancer. Celeste was born December 12, 1951, to Ruby Louise Robison Campbell and Gardner Walker Campbell in Ottawa, Kansas. She lived an enchanted childhood in Ottawa. After attending Pittsburg State University, she worked for the H. D. Lee and the King Radio Companies in Ottawa. She was owner of the Ottawa and Lawrence Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios and was also in business with her sister, Cheryl Rae Campbell, managing the Mission and Lenexa Merle Norman Studios. Residences included Ottawa and Overland Park, Kansas; Port Aransas, Texas, in winter; and Branson, Missouri, in retirement.

Celeste was an independent volunteer working on beautification projects wherever she lived, on the Ol’ Maris River Run Car Show in Ottawa, and on projects for Keep Port Aransas Beautiful, the Library and the Art Center in Port Aransas. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, in the Caribbean and Europe. She especially appreciated close relationships with her parents, her “twin” sister Cheryl, her forever friends from Ottawa, her extended family relatives, and her friends everywhere.


Celeste is survived by step-nephews Christopher (Cathy) Stegall and Brandon (Susan) Stegall and their 14 children, and many beloved Robison and Campbell relatives.


There will be private memorial services with inurnment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.
