Charles “Chuck” Allen Lawver

Charles “Chuck” Allen Lawver, age 84, of Branson, Missouri, passed away May 24, 2020. He entered this life February 13, 1936, in Canton, Illinois, the son of Bessie Witherell. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. Having many qualities, he was known to be a jokester at heart. Chuck was a hard worker who loved tinkering in his garage and enjoyed his cars. You could often find him in his yard either feeding the birds or watching the deer. Chuck loved the Lord and cherished time reading the Bible. Being a family man and a great provider, he treasured his grand kids and adored spending time with them. Chuck will be greatly missed, and the memories created with him will be forever remembered.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bessie Witherell and Albert White; wife, Sharon Lawver; brother, Robert Lawver; and niece, Krisa (Lawver) Kelly.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Angie (Byron) Musehl of Branson, Missouri; son, Jason (Nancy) Lawver of Branson, Missouri; four grandkids: Josh (and his partner, Coty), Dylan, Lindsay, and Jordan; sister in-law, Beverly Lawver of Canton, Illinois; niece, Lisa (Brian) Peterson of Lansing, Michigan; two grand-nieces, Cassidy and Kayden of Greenville, Mississippi; and one great-grand-nephew and great-grand-niece.

A memorial service and inurnment will be planned for a later time in Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals (https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/give) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/donate).
