Cynthia Barnes

Cynthia Barnes, Reeds Spring, MO, daughter of Billy and Alice (Freeman) Taylor, was born October 24, 1968 in Branson, MO and departed this life on April 19, 2021 at the age of 52.

Cindy had been a life-long resident of the area. She was a member of the Hilltop Full Gospel Church.


Cindy was always a bright light to everyone around her as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She never asked anyone for anything, but always gave so much without a second thought. She loved her granddaughter with a love beyond words.She will never truly be gone from us, thanks to the lifetime of memories she has left behind. As she always said, “ Life isn’t measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” She will be remembered by her quick wit, overflowing love, and her ability to be positive even in the worst circumstances.


Cindy is survived by her husband, Danny Barnes of Reeds Spring, MO; her parents, Billy and Alice Taylor of Reeds Spring, MO; daughter, Kina Taylor of Reeds Spring, MO; granddaughter, Emberlynn Harris and a host of other family and friends.


Graveside service will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 12:00 noon with Sister Twila Tennison officiating at Yocum Pond Cemetery Reeds Spring, MO. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the American Diabetes Association.


Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
