Dallas Lee Hicks, Sr.

Dallas Lee Hicks, Sr., Kimberling City, MO, son of Rosco and Inez (Jenkins) Hicks, was born July 30, 1935 in Galena, MO and departed this life on August 21, 2019, at the age of 84.

Dallas had been a life-long resident of the area and was an over the road truck driver.

Dallas was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hicks; his parents; one son, Dallas Lee Hicks, II; one daughter, Virginia Lee Hicks and one niece, Stephanie Gant.

Survivors include: three daughters, Crystol Malchose of St. Joseph, MO, Opal Lasiter and husband, Ron of Springfield, MO and Shirley Hicks of Springfield, MO; one brother, Warren Hicks and wife, Terry of Fair Grove, MO; five sisters, Donna Martin of Galena, MO, Pauline Hedrick of Galena, MO, Ruby Bowling and husband, Charles of Crane, MO, Mae Allen and husband, Wayne of Jenkins, MO and Edna Rahalander of Waterloo, IA; thirteen grandchildren, Brian Malchose, Stacy Kovac, Tyler Malchose, Joseph Lasiter, Stephen Lasiter, Summera Crim, Cheyanne Hicks, Cortlyn Hicks, Myriah Hicks, Raven Hicks, Dallas Lee Hicks, III, Stephanie Gant, Justin Goben and Candice Gant; twenty two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jennifer Essary officiating. Services under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
