Daniel LeRoy Clark, Sr.
Daniel LeRoy Clark, Sr. age 72, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born November 5, 1947 in Forest Grove, Oregon, the son of Franklin L. and Bertha V. (Brackenbury) Clark. On July 2, 1977 in Reno, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Mae Morgan, who preceded him in death on May 19, 2018. Also preceding him in death were his parents, and one step-daughter Donna Jean Anderson.
Surviving are one son, Daniel LeRoy Clark, Jr. of Yuma, Arizona; one step-son, Allen Phinney and his wife Tawna of Cassville, Missouri; one step-daughter, Glenda Dean of Butterfield, Missouri; son-in-law, Jamie Anderson; four sisters, Bonnie Livingston of Newport, Washington, Rachel Crockett and her husband David of Sheridan, Wyoming, Loretta Moon and her husband Robert of Pahrump, Nevada and Beverly Pede and her husband Charles of Shelton, Washington; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Daniel received his education in Lubbock, Texas, where he graduated from high school. After high school he joined the United States Army, serving from March 21, 1966 until March 14, 1974. Shortly after his military service, he moved to Shelton, Washington and in 2001 he moved to Barry County to make his home. For many years he was a self-employed truck driver. Some of his favorite pastimes were spending time with his family, grandkids and great nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2020 at Union Cemetery, South of Stella, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
