Danny Lee Farwell

Danny Lee Farwell, age 74, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at his home.

He was born May 22, 1946 in Stella, Missouri, the son of Forrest Richard and Doris Arlene (Hobbs) Farwell, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents, Otto and May Farwell and Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Hobbs.

Surviving are his step-mother, Georgia Hart and her husband Maurice “Buddie” of Eagle Rock, Missouri; one sister, Nova Kay Finocchairo and her husband Kevin of Cassville, Missouri; two step-sisters, Terry Weisman and her husband Derek of Blue Eye, Missouri and Kelley Kozma and her husband Peter of San Diego, California; one step-brother, Don Hart and his wife Raylene of Cassville, Missouri; two nephews, Roger Brock and his friend Christy of Cassville, Missouri and Danny Brock and his wife Tausha of Cassville, Missouri; two nieces, Julia Finocchairo of Springfield, Missouri and Kristyn Finocchairo of Branson, Missouri; two step-nephews, Brandon Hart of Cassville, Missouri and Bud Heatherly of Cassville, Missouri; three step-nieces, Lamay Burns and her husband Mike of Cassville, Missouri, Myranda Frederickson and her husband Scott of Salem, Missouri and Sofie Kozma of San Diego, California; many great nieces and nephews; his uncle, Tom Farwell and Mary of Greencastle, Missouri and his aunt, Shirlie Abbett of Osage Beach, Missouri.

Danny received his education in Cassville, Missouri and Argentine, Kansas, graduating from Argentine High School in 1965. He then attended Junior College in Kansas City, Kansas. At the age of thirteen he was saved and baptized. For several years he was a Ranch Hand for his uncle, Tom Farwell and his wife Mary in Greencastle, Missouri and also worked at a ranch in Colorado. He was also a salesman for Senco Stapling Company of Kansas City, Missouri and drove a truck for Warner Brothers in Omaha, Nebraska. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing in Missouri and Colorado.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2020 at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Tony Ball will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:15 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
