Danny Roy Queenen
Danny Roy Queenen, age 71, of Kirbyville, Missouri, passed away on August 11, 2019, in Branson, Missouri. Danny was born in Hollywood, California, to Abraham and Esther (Farr) Queenen on July 28, 1948. He was joined in marriage to Nancy Jeanette “Jeannie” Dunn on August 27, 1972. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Danny dedicated his life to work, family, and dog rescue. He took great pride in his work when he catered for the movie industry, was a meat cutter, and later drove a school bus for Village Christian Schools in California, and continued his love of driving busses when he moved to Missouri in 2010, until he retired from driving in October of 2018. Danny rescued many dogs in his life, especially Basset Hounds. His favorite pastime was boating. He loved his wife and his family dearly. Danny will long be remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Richard Queenen.
Danny is survived by his wife, Jeannie Queenen of the home, just 16 days shy of 47 years married, but together for 49 years; two daughters: Shirley Queenen of California and Sitina Lowther of Missouri; and grandchildren: Jordyn Smith of California and Kaylee Lowther of Missouri; sister-in law, Patricia Fargo of Rockaway Beach, Missouri; nieces and nephews, and other family.
