Darlene Ann Cole

Mrs. Darlene Ann Cole, 83, died Thursday, October 15, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Overland, Missouri. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 1-2 pm at Brown Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Missouri.

Darlene was born on Tuesday, August 10, 1937, in Kissee Mills, Missouri, the daughter of Grover and Dessie Davidson. Darlene was a lifelong resident of Taney County. After graduating from college, Darlene taught school for a total of 35 years before retiring. After retirement, Darlene loved raising cattle and grandchildren, and she always maintained a strong religious faith. Darlene always gave selflessly while asking nothing in return.

Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Grover Davidson, her mother, Dessie Davidson, her brother, Jay Davidson, and her nephew, Mark Davidson.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Marty Davidson, her sister-in-law, Judy Davidson, her son, Mike Cole, her daughter, Mary Jones, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew, three great-nephews, and one great niece.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home in Forsyth, Missouri.
