After graduating from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, David attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri where he met his wife, Debra and attained a BA in Biblical Studies and Education Certification from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.

In 1990, David and Debra moved to Branson, Missouri. David managed several area hotels specializing in turnarounds and revenue growth with his one-of-a-kind, hands-on leadership style. He also developed a hotel consulting business assisting owners in Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. David loved taking care of people both guests and employees and enjoyed mentoring young people for over 40 years. David loved Branson and served his community as a Rotarian and Branson Lakes Area Lodging Association member.

David’s favorite saying was “Everything will be okay!” and his life motto was “Live to Give!” His faith in God was his number one priority and he faithfully served in his local church. He was always looking for ways to bless people and spread joy with his contagious laughter.

David enjoyed fishing, football, baseball, bowling and most of all competing with his siblings. He loved to host family and friends—the more, the merrier!
