Diana Luisa Navarec

Diana Luisa Navarec, age 76, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She entered this life November 24, 1943, in Comstock, Texas, the daughter of Manuel and Frances (Cortez) Cardenas. Her parents and a sister, Sylvia Cardenas, have preceded her in death. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Diana Navarec

With a heart for children, Diana proudly served as a teacher for the migrant education program in California for more than 25 years. Her passion was being in the beauty of nature, whether tending to her flowers or reading a book. Diana will long be remembered for the joy she brought to the table with her cooking and love for others. She was always a faithful Catholic. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren. Many lives have been influenced over the years, and those memories will live on the hearts and minds of the ones honored to know her.

Diana is survived by her four children: Jimmy (Lori) Navarec of Stockton, California; Teresa Navarec of Stockton, California; Deborah Hartwick of San Diego, California; and John (Kim Fears) Navarec of Forsyth, Missouri. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Manuel, Sam, Gloria, Lupe, and Rebecca.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time. To leave online condolences, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com.
