Don Gene Coppenbarger

Donald “Don” Gene Coppenbarger, age 70, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. He entered this life July 7, 1949, in Olathe, Kansas, the son of Robert and Rose (Holford) Coppenbarger. Don was joined in marriage August 16, 1969, to Patricia Rosas. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Don was known for writing music and playing his guitar. He never met a stranger and was a positive influence on all, touching the hearts of many people. Don enjoyed going fishing, golfing, and playing pool in his spare time. He and his loving wife, Patricia, started a business 40 years ago making sugar decorative eggs and worked together making beautiful creations. He was a loving father and husband for the family and a giving and supporting friend to all he met. He will be greatly missed by all.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Seacrest; sister, Betty Rose Coppenbarger, and sister, Roberta Coppenbarger.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Patricia Coppenbarger of the home; son, Donald Coppenbarger Jr. of Branson, Missouri; son, Andrew Coppenbarger of Ozark, Missouri; daughter, Angel (Bill) Secrest of Aurora, Indiana; grandchildren: Drew, Ben, Ashley, Brittney, Amber, Autumn, and Will; brother, Richard (Enora) Coppenbarger of Missouri; brother, Ray Lee Coppenbarger of Kansas; sister, Shirley (Gary) of Kansas; sister, Nanette (Jim) of Kansas; sister, Charlotte of Kansas; sister, Carrol Lea Coppenbarger of Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
