Donald Crawford Johnson

Donald Crawford Johnson, age 101, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away November 25, 2020, surrounded by family. He entered this life November 5, 1919, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Erlo and Stella (Trot) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Jean Johnson; and daughter, Mary Ruben.

Donald Johnson

A World War II veteran, Donald served our country as a corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He met his wife, Betty, at the Wright-Patterson Field in Dayton, Ohio, in 1945. Donald would tell everyone that his achievement to living a long life was walking and exercise. He was an honest man with a high integrity, living life in the moment. He sewed loving kindness and reaped the same. Donald was amazing at carpentry work and had a heart for helping people. He loved being with his family and will be deeply missed.

Donald is survived by three daughters, Donna (Thomas) Idol of Blue Eye, Missouri; daughter, Sandura (Gregg) Serrao of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Theresa Najemian of Tampa, Florida. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
