Donna Coleen Phillips
Donna Coleen Phillips, age 91, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
She was born November 7, 1928 in Cassville the daughter of Earl and Cleo (McFarland) Eubanks. On July 10, 1947 in the state of Washington she was united in marriage to Henry “Hank” Phillips, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1984. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two daughters, Diana Owens and her husband Jim of Cassville and Connie Phillips also of Cassville; one sister, Betty “Sue” Flowers of Panama City, Florida; five grandchildren, Brian Portmann, Tracie Lakey, Angie Walker, Brandon Morris and Chell Dawn Taylor and seventeen great grandchildren.
Donna was born and raised in Cassville. Her family moved to Kansas City, where she met her husband and raised her family. In the early 1970’s after Hank retired, they moved to a small farm near Cassville. She was a very spiritual lady and enjoyed doing volunteer work. One of the places she volunteered was at Providence Hospital in Kansas City as a Gray Lady. After moving back to Cassville she worked at the Town House Motel and later volunteered at the Senior Center.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Horner Cemetery in Cassville. Everyone is welcome to attend.
