Donna Maria Wilkins
Donna Maria Wilkins, a forever, gentle, and kind soul passed away peacefully at the age of 59, on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born December 17, 1960 in Washington D.C. the daughter of Clarence and Lois (Smith) Gale.
On February 27, 2011 in Seligman, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Greg Wilkins, who preceded her in death on September 2, 2013. Also preceding her in death was her mother, Lois Gale. Surviving are her father, Clarence W. Gale of Pocomoke City, Maryland; two sisters, Pamela Lolita Gale and Karen L. Wyatt both of Washington DC, one nephew Christopher Michael Gale, and one niece Hannah Renee Wyatt.
Donna graduated from Suitland Senior High School in 1979 in Suitland, Maryland. She earned her Associates Degree from Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland. Donna was employed for seven years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
She was a beautiful soprano singer, avid historian and read books from many different genres. Donna was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins football team. Donna remained a loyal fan even though she relocated to the Midwest.
Most of her life was spent as a daycare provider, loving and taking care of children. She was loved and respected by many. Her years of providing tender loving care to children from different daycare centers touched many lives. Her first love was her “babies” that she nurtured. Donna’s love for the Lord was spread and shown toward everyone she met.
