Eddie Joe Slama

Eddie Joe Slama was born on July 8, 1957 in Webb City, Missouri to Harold & Berniece Slama. He grew up in Trenton, Missouri and attended school there. He had lived various places in Southwest Missouri with his loving wife Brenda. Ed was employed as a truck driver and when he wasn’t on the road he enjoyed time with friends, playing music on the guitar and drums and singing, and driving in his ’57 Chevy.

Ed entered into rest on May 14, 2021 at the age of 63 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Ed is survived by his wife, Brenda of Branson West; children, Sean Haden and wife Autumn of Branson West, Philip Slama of San Francisco, CA, Jarred Slama of Kansas City, MO and Amanda Brown and husband Bobby of Springfield along with thirteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with Pastor Rickey Cosby officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. and burial in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
