Elza Marvin “L.Z.” Buttrum

Elza Marvin “L.Z.” Buttrum, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.

He was born March 13, 1943 in Alma, Arkansas, the son of Odie and Lillian (Curtis) Buttrum, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Betty Meyers.

Surviving are two sons, Dewayne Buttrum and Robert Buttrum both of Arizona; two brothers, David Buttrum and his wife Lezlie of Verona, Missouri and Glen Buttrum and his wife Jill of Purdy, Missouri and grandchildren.

L.Z. graduated from Lewis Cass High School in Walton, Indiana and was a graduate of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He then served in the United States Army. Most of his life was spent as a self-employed Certified Public Accountant from which he retired.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
