Ernest “Ernie” Albrecht

Ernest “Ernie” Albrecht, age 67, of Clever, Missouri, entered his Heavenly home March 30, 2020. He was born July 27, 1952, in Staten Island, New York, the son of Ernest and Joyce Ann Albrecht. Ernie was joined in holy matrimony December 15, 1971, to Bibi Montiz Shah.


Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.


A man of bold faith, Ernie loved the Lord and shared his faith with many. He was a caring man with a positive attitude. Ernie attended School Craft College and spent 34 years as an Executive Chef with Aramark, where he traveled extensively serving many with his passion for fine dining. Ernie was a fan of his beloved Detroit sports teams. He enjoyed gardening, walking, a healthy lifestyle, and reading the Bible. Jesus was his first love, his family was a very close second. Ernie was a loving husband, dad, “Pops”, grandpa and “Papa” that will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.


He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce Ann Ornsby.


Ernie is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Bibi Montiz Albrecht of the home; four sons: Ernie Albrecht and wife Amanda of Waco, Texas, Paul Albrecht and wife Amanda of Richardson, Texas, Scott Albrecht of Springfield, Missouri, Josh Albrecht of Euless, Texas; a daughter, Heather Albrecht of Schereville, Indiana; 11 grandchildren: Bianca, Eliana, Malachi, Gabriela, Suraya, Louis, Kennedy, Erica, Vanessa, Kylie and Stephanie; two greatgrandchildren: Xavier and Phoenix; his brothers: Dennis Albrecht and wife Mary, Tom Albrecht and wife Cindy, Dwight Albrecht and wife Linda, all of Hudson Falls, New York, and Charles Albrecht and wife Tammy of Queensbury, New York; as well as several nieces and nephews.


A celebration of Ernie’s life will be held at a later time in New York with burial in Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury, New York.
