Everett “Dean” Boyer

Everett “Dean” Boyer, age 69, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born January 8, 1951 in Cassville the son of Millard and Emily Louise (Tucker) Boyer. Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents, Everett and Harriett Tucker and Dean and Pearl Boyer.

Surviving are his mother, Louise; two brothers, Rick Boyer and his wife Marilyn of Lynchburg, Virginia and Keith Boyer also of Lynchburg; one sister, Connie Boyer of Wichita, Kansas; fourteen nieces and nephews and twenty-two great nieces and nephews.

Dean grew up and received most of his education in Haysville, Kansas, graduating from high school at Cassville in 1970 and then attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. For fourteen years he was a bass singer at the Roy Clark Theater in Branson and was voted Bass Singer of the Year. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cassville.

Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing and singing.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Milford Baker will conduct the services.
