In 1947 she married the love of her life, Sebastian “Bud” Naioti, and they had 2 children, Barney Naioti and Kathy (Naioti) Divine. She was blessed with 3 Grandchildren: Dr. Jordan Jones, Nicholas Sebastian Naioti, and Dylan Christopher Jones, along with 2 Great Grandchildren: Ella and Oliver Jones; She also had a special, loving relationship with her Son-In-Law, Dr. Michael Divine, her Daughter-In-Law, Vicki Naioti, and their children and grandchildren.

Frances Naioti

Bud and “Louise” (she preferred “Frances” in her later years) met during the Rockaway Beach tourist boom of the 1940’s and 50’s. Soon after their marriage they opened Naioti’s Restaurant, which was the first Italian restaurant in the area and quickly became very popular with tourists, locals, and area business people. Following the success of the restaurant the couple soon opened the Eden Roc Motel in Rockaway Beach. After several years of successful operations they sold their businesses and moved to Clearwater Florida where they enjoyed a 20-year retirement before eventually moving back to Springfield.

Frances’s family described her as “a devoted Wife and loving Mother who gave her children a wonderful childhood and everything they needed to succeed in life”. She and her family attended the Rockaway Beach Union Church for many years, and Frances always had a deep relationship with her God through prayer. She was surrounded by family and friends until her death, and her family is especially grateful to the people at Ravenwood Senior Living in Springfield who loved Frances and gave her the best care in her final days.

Our Mother brought unconditional love, joy, music, the best food, and a little craziness into our lives, and she will be greatly missed.

Services will be handled by Whelchel Grace funeral home in Forsyth, Missouri, and donations in Frances’s name may be sent to Preferred Hospice, 5340 Town Centre Drive, Ozark MO 65721 in lieu of flowers.
