George Aneloski, Lampe, MO, son of Edward and Anna (Gazulris) Aneloski, was born February 24, 1924 in Virden, IL and departed this life on June 2, 2019 at the age of 95.
George had been a resident of the area for twenty-eight years, moving here from Dallas, TX. He served his country proudly in the United States Army Air Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant Bomber Pilot.
George was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; one sister and one granddaughter, Lisa Maurer.
Survivors include: his wife of 74 years, Virginia Aneloski of Lampe, MO; two daughters, Patricia Eaton and husband, Bob of Racine, WI and Pamela Lindsay and husband, Bob of Weatherford, TX; five granddaughters, Kelli O’Neal, Jodie Bochinski and husband, Jerrod, Darcey Lara and husband, Arthur, Lindsey Landy and husband, David and Elizabeth Burdick and husband, Bryce; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of other family and friends.
A special thank you to the Phoenix Hospice Team that faithfully loved and cared for him.
Burial will take place at a later date in Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL., with grandson-in-law, Pastor David Landy officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
