Glenn Richard Theriac
Glenn Richard Theriac, age 81, of Houston, Texas, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at Houston Methodist West Hospital.
He was born June 2, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Earl and Elizabeth (Welsh) Theriac. On May 19, 1961 in Redlands, California he was united in marriage to Carol Scott, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Mark Theriac and his wife Michelle of Beaumont, Texas; two daughters, Elizabeth Theriac of Los Angeles, California and Dia Hutchins and her husband Michael of Houston, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Mary Norman of Cassville, Missouri, Jeannie Scott of Exeter, Missouri and Olga Scott of Brownsville, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, Madison and Justice Manning, Chapel, Pierce, Bella and Hannah Hutchins, Ben Theriac and his wife Brettnay, Candace Lipko and her husband Seth and Elyse, Jennifer, Larissa, Joshua, Andrew and Kristen Theriac; one great granddaughter, Madelyn Lipko and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenn grew up and received his education in Brownsville, Texas, where he graduated from high school and attended college. Glenn was in the 90 day army program and then served five years in the Army reserves. Most of his life was spent in the banking business as a mortgage lender. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Laith Hayward will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
