Gloria Jean Boyer
Gloria Jean Boyer, age 73, of Branson, Missouri, passed away October 10, 2020. She was born October 20, 1946, in Fresno, California, and was the daughter of George August Boyer and Katherine Rovine (Tolle) Gallant.
Gloria lived a large part of her life in California and Texas, but moved to Branson with her daughter and son-in-law a little over 10 years ago. She formed roots in this area and considered it home.
Throughout her time on this earth, Gloria demonstrated her love to friends and family through various acts of service. She was kind and always eager to help when needed. Gloria was a dedicated member of Mission Stitchin’ Quilters of First Baptist Church Forsyth, where she helped make quilts for missionaries. She was also part of Circle of Friends and cherished those friendships formed over the years. Gloria was a loyal member of TOPS in Branson and worked her way to the status of COPS, of which she was very proud. Gloria was active and healthy, committing time to exercise at Silver Sneakers and yoga. She was an integral part in helping her daughter and son-in-law at Victory Chiropractic in Branson. It was also in her nature to love God’s creatures, especially cats.
All who knew Gloria will remember her loving-kindness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Ronald Boyer and Donald (Marilee) Boyer; and son, Ray August Harrison.
Gloria is survived by daughter, Tamara “Tami” (Dr. Bo) Bandy of Branson, Missouri; her son, Roy Alan (Michelle) Harrison of Linden, California; four grandchildren: Amber, Brian, Cayla, and Brie; sister, JoAnne (Ernie) Wiens of Fresno, California; brother, John Boyer; and half-sister, Kathy Brems; sister-in-law, Carol Boyer; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
