Goldie Avis Christian Baker, born July 16, 1934 to George Lincoln Christian and Emiline Lynn Christian in Taney County, Mo.

Goldie was married to Willard Eugene Baker (Gene) on July 4th 1959 in Sacramento California. They began their family before moving back to Missouri, where she milked cows, worked on the farm and raised three children.(commonly referred to as a housewife)

Goldie raised three children: Jimmy Dean Baker, married to Tammy Jo Cook, David Eugene Baker married to Jeanne Sue Gill and Ruby Mae Baker Gideon.

Goldie had six grandchildren and spouses: Nathan D Baker & Amber Baker, Joey D. Baker & Kelly Baker, David E Baker Jr, Amanda S Baker & Nikki Ryan, Samantha J Gideon Phillips & Joshua Phillips and Tabitha J Gideon.

And eight great grandchildren: Addison, Emma, Rebecca, Savannah, Austin, James, Jasper and Remington all of MO.

Goldie was preceded in death by both parents, her spouse and nine brothers and sisters: Venita Dickey, Mo. Clifford Christian, TX; Hobert Christian, MO; Dessie Bilyeu, CA; Bonnie Pride, MO; Ed Christian, CA; Edna Manor, CA and Auto-Cleo Christian, MO. She is survived by her sister Pauline Pride, MO; brother Vernon Christian, MO; and many many cousins, nieces and nephews.

As much as She loved her family- with all her heart and cherished times spent with her children, she loved the Lord. She continued to attend worship and spoke often how she enjoyed the services at the care facility.

Service for Goldie will be Monday, January 4, 2021 at Stumpff Funeral Chapel Kimberling City, MO with Brother Freddy McCoy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
