Haley Taylor, 61 of Branson, passed away on September 22, 2020 at Cox Medical Center, Branson.

Haley Dewayne Taylor was born in Amarillo, Texas to William Clyde Taylor and Wanda Fay (Coker) Taylor on May 3, 1959. His family moved to Springfield and Haley graduated high school at Glendale High School. He went on to earn a degree at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. Haley worked as an electrician with the Springfield School District.

Haley loved music and was a talented musician. He played the drums, washboard and spoons. He took his talent and love of this area to Silver Dollar City where he was a train robber and performed as the character, Pooter McCoy. Haley was also a servant of Christ and was part of the fellowship at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Nixa.

Haley is survived by his loving family who will miss him dearly – his wife, Peggy Taylor of Branson; children Jamie Taylor of Virginia, Phillip Taylor of Ozark, MO, Katrina Taylor of Ozark, Brianna Davis of Portland, IN and Byron Diamond of Springfield along with three grandchildren. Haley is also survived by his father, William “Bud” Taylor and wife Christina of Republic, MO and two sisters, Shana Littrell of Republic and Krista Graham of Springfield.

Haley’s family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Directors, Branson.
