Harold B. "Harry" Coleman

Harold B. "Harry" Coleman, 77, of Walnut Shade, passed away at home July 5, 2020 at 77 years of age. He was born in De Soto, Missouri on March 24, 1943 to Lloyd and Mary Coleman. importantly just spending time outdoors exploring in the woods with family and friends and enjoying the nature of the Ozarks. He spent most of his time in the Mark Twain Forest and in the local creeks and lakes. Harry always had a good story to tell and really had a gift of making people feel right at home in his presence.

Harry is survived by his wife, Dixie Coleman, of the home; daughters: Delisa and husband Mark DeLay (Walnut Shade, MO), Dawn and husband Jimmy Hammond (O’Fallon, MO), Michelle and husband Jeff Carver (Pleasant Hill, MO); Grandchildren: Jamie and Jake Hammond, Christian and Ben Carver, and Megan McKee (Orlando, FL); Great-grandchild Evelyn Carver; Nieces Jennifer and Jackie (St. Charles, MO); and nephews Joe and Jerry (St. Charles).

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Jeanne Beckerle, and brother Bud Coleman.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Whelchel Grace funeral home in Forsyth, MO. (masks required). Graveside services will be Friday, July 10, 2020, at 3:30 PM in the Helphrey Cemetery, Taneyville, MO.
