Harold “Harry” Lynn Goodrich
Harold “Harry” Lynn Goodrich, age 71, of Fordland, Missouri, passed away
December 5, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born September 12,
1949, in Hamilton, Michigan, the son of Leonard and Dorothy (McGowan)
Goodrich. Harry was joined in marriage June 10, 1989, to Cindy Deal.
Cremation and services are under the direction of Cremations of the
Ozarks.

Harry proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps
during Viet Nam. After his service to his country, he was a career firefighter
for 22 years. Harry was a member of the Las Vegas Firefighters Local
#1285. He loved his work and his service to the community. In his spare
time, Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and woodworking. He
was a member of the Las Vegas Gun Club. Harry also built houses and
worked in cement. He was a phenomenal cook and enjoyed baking. Most
of all, Harry was a jolly old man who loved his family and will be missed
dearly by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Dragon; and four
brothers: Max, Jerry, Art and Dwayn Goodrich.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Cindy Goodrich; his
children: Danielle Stewart and husband Jason of Fordland, Missouri,
Jennifer Goodrich of Illinois, as well as Brian Goodrich and wife Shannon of
Texas; six grandchildren: McLeod, Donevon, Sequoyah, Gage, Grechen
and Graceland; two sisters, Connie Vandomelen of Michigan, and Joannie
Stewart of Michigan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside service with full military honors will be held at a later
time at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. To leave online
