Helen Rose, age 80, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born April 26, 1939 in Klamath Falls, Oregon the daughter of John and Maudie (Cooper) Periman. On June 21, 1958 she was united in marriage to Lyle Sam Rose, who survives. Also surviving are one son Randy Rose and his wife Danielle of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter, Lucinda Rose of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister, Lou Ann Priest of Cassville, Missouri and two grandchildren, Logan Rose and Madison Holliday and her husband Charles.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.
Helen received her education at Washburn and was Valedictorian of her graduating class. For thirty years she was employed at Forrest Products and was currently working part-time at Four Seasons Hotel in Cassville. She was a member of Cassville First Baptist Church and Classy Red Hatter. One of her favorite pastimes was working with crafts and she had a special talent in which she could paint characters and their eyes seemed to be looking right at you. She also taught many classes in the art of painting.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services.
