Homer Glen Grose

Homer Glen Grose, Reeds Spring, MO, son of Hubert and Eunice (Bennett) Grose, was born May 14, 1930 in Leadwood, MO and departed this life on July 8, 2020.

Homer Grose

Homer had been a resident of the area for thirty years moving here from St. Louis, MO. His career for 37 years of devoted service was in law enforcement as a State Highway Patrolman, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kimberling City, MO and Masonic Scottish Rite of Leadwood, MO.

Homer was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved living in Kimberling City and being close to Table Rock Lake. He loved his church and many friends he had there. He enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Homer was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife and mother of their three children, Joy Darlene (Stoltz) Grose.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 34 years, RuthEllen Grose of Reeds Spring, MO; three children Daniel W. Grose and wife, Carla of Hurst, TX, Sherry L. Wolff of St. Louis, MO and J. Todd Grose and wife Laura of Aurora, MO; two step-sons, Daniel E. Conway and wife, Tammy of House Springs, MO and Rod L. Conway and wife, Debra of Imperial, MO; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2020 10:00-11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Kimberling City, MO with service following at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hardy officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, July 14, 2020 12:00 p.m. in Leadwood Protestant Cemetery Leadwood, MO. The family has requested donations to the Shoe Box Ministry at First Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
