Horst Gerhard Walter Priebe

Horst Gerhard Walter Priebe, age 84, of Branson, Missouri, passed away October 8, 2019. He was born May 9, 1935, in Belgard, Germany, the son of Walter Karl Albert Priebe and Emma Ida Erna (Knop) Priebe. His parents have preceded him in death. Horst was joined in marriage October 29, 2002, to Julie Perez. Services and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Horst proudly served our country for four years in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Korean War. He was adventurous and never afraid of anything. Horst enjoyed western movies, traveling, fishing, playing the card game Thirty-One 24/7, his cabin and being on the lake with his kids. He was a man of God, integrity, a hard worker, and very self-sufficient. Horst loved his wife and family unconditionally. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Horst is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Julie Perez Priebe; his children: Denise Schnell (Todd) of Michigan, Kristen Priebe (Tom Lawless) of Florida, Shannon Lenz (Dustin) of Florida, Dr. Ralph LeBlanc (Cherie) of Branson, Margerita Dougharty (Brad) of Branson, Paul LeBlanc (Angel) of Hollister, Missouri; his grandchildren: Michaela and Timothy Schnell, Kalani Seyler, Daxton Lenz, Madison Westerdale (Charlie), Macy, Mia and Morgan LeBlanc, Connar, Keigan and Isabella Dougharty, Ethan and Eurijah LeBlanc; greatgrandchildren: Aiden LeBlanc, Titus Dougharty, Wesley Westerdale; and a brother, Ulrich Priebe.

A celebration of life will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, October 18, 2019, at Lakewood Church in Branson West, with Pastor Cecil W. Todd officiating.
