Howard Ray McWaters
Howard Ray McWaters, age 56, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home.
He was born May 14, 1964 in Lauderdale County, Alabama the son of Jimmy and Duby (Lucas) McWaters.
Howard grew up and received his education in Alabama and attended Central High School in Florence, Alabama. Most of his life was spent working as a self-employed carpenter. In 1991 he moved from Alabama to Shell Knob to make his home. He attended Golden Baptist Church. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing and he loved his best friend, “Rebel” his dog.
Surviving are his mother, Duby McWaters of Waterloo, Alabama; four sisters, Judy Taylor and Katy Thornton and her husband Dwayne all of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Mary Ann Johnson and her husband Randy and Loutina Scott and her husband Danny all of Florence Alabama and his close friends, Jason and Jessica Ponder of Lampe, Missouri.
Preceding him in death was his father, Jimmy McWaters.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob, Missouri. Burial will be at Francis-King-Lucas Public Cemetery in Waterloo, Alabama.
