James “Jim” Edwin Meadows

James “Jim” Edwin Meadows, age 62, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Friday May 1, 2020, at his home. He entered this life June 25, 1957, in Washington, D.C., the son of Roy and Ann (Dulskis) Meadows. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Active in the publishing and entertainment industry, Jim got his start in the yearbook and newspaper at Boron High School in Boron, California, where he graduated in 1975. He was active in cross country, track, and basketball. He attended Bakersfield College and was a reporter for their school newspaper. For many years of his life, Jim traveled the word in the entertainment industry. He worked for decades with Steve Diamond, a magician from Las Vegas, and in later years with Liverpool Legends in Branson. Before Las Vegas, Tennessee, and Branson, he was a disc jockey at KUZZ radio in Bakersfield, California. Jim came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior with the help of Pastor Dan Reed of the Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Hollister, Missouri. Jim is with his Lord and at peace. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John E. Meadows; and his daughter, Allison J. Meadows.

He is survived by his brother, Robert (Vicki) Meadows of Bakersfield, California; sister-in-law, Ruth Meadows of Bakersfield, California; nephew, Christopher Meadows of Bakersfield, California; and niece, Jennifer (O.B.) Magee of Stockton, California.

A memorial service is being planned for a later time at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Hollister, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Hollister, Missouri. A special thanks to the Cox Home Health team for taking care of Jim.
