James Richard Olmstead

James Richard Olmstead, age 46, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away November 30, 2019. James entered this world in Omaha, Nebraska, on January 28, 1973, to Dennis and Mary Ann (Buglewicz) Olmstead. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

With a passion for the outdoors, James was often found fishing, hunting, and soaking up the sun at the lake. Working in construction, one of his specialties was building sun rooms. James possessed natural and developed skills in building and craftsmanship. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Most notably, James cared deeply for his loving family, who will treasure memories with him.

James is survived by his parents, Dennis and Mary Ann Olmstead of Hollister, Missouri; a brother, John Olmstead of Nebraska City, Nebraska; a sister, Denise Olmstead of Hollister, Missouri.

A celebration of life will be 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, December 19, 2019, at the Hollister Historic Train Depot, in Hollister, Missouri. Inurnment will take place at Ozarks Memorial Park in Branson, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hollister High School Fishing Team.
