James Thomas Walker

James Thomas Walker, age 72, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home.

He was born March 29, 1948 in El Monte, California the son of William Lee and Mary (Vandevener) Walker. He was united in marriage to Cherrwynne Buck, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Geoffrey Walker and his wife Barbara of San Bernardino, California, Jeremy Walker and his wife Nicole of Cassville, Missouri and Scott Brophy of Purdy, Missouri; two sisters, Anna Pearl Walker of El Monte, California and Mary Ellen Walker of California; eleven grandchildren, Owen,

Fred, Izyk, Denver, Kaydence, Breanna, Jeffrey, Johnny, Blake, Addison and C.J. and two great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

James grew up and received his education in El Monte, California. For several years he owned and operated a janitorial company in California. In 1993 moved to Barry County, Missouri and continued in the same business. One of the buildings he maintained was the American Legion Building. While living here he also was employed at Georges and Tysons. Before his death James found salvation. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing and being with his family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
