Jane Evelyn Yarnall

Jane Evelyn Yarnall, age 85, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Oak Pointe of Monett.

She was born August 28, 1934 in Cassville, Missouri, the daughter of Clovis and Jessie (Henderson) Thomas. On October 10, 1954, she was united in marriage to Paul Yarnall, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jerry Yarnall and his wife Debbie of Cassville, Missouri and Jeff Yarnall and his wife Michelle of Joplin, Missouri; one daughter, Debbie Ramser of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Betty Thomas of Cassville, Missouri; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers and a son-in-law, Mike Ramser.

Jane was a life-long resident of Barry County, attending grade school at Stoney Point and graduating from Exeter High School. During her life she worked at Fasco Industries and was also owner/operator of Barry County Florist. For twenty years, she and Paul raised chickens and worked on the farm together. If Paul and Jane weren’t working, they were always together. He always said “She was good Preacher’s wife.” She was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church for twenty years, where Paul was Pastor and she assisted him. Later she became a member of First Baptist Church of Exeter.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Aaron Weibel will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Missouri Baptist Children’s Home or LUC Ranch in memory of Jane.
