Janet Marie Bair Cooper
Janet Marie Bair Cooper, 83, of Indian Point, Missouri, passed away peacefully Monday, April 19th, 2021, due to complications from a fall. She was surrounded by family. Janet was raised in San Mateo, California, and attended California State University in Chico, California. She married Floyd Cooper and moved many times while her husband served in the Air Force. They settled in Omaha, Nebraska, in the early 1970s to raise their 3 children. Janet had her own tax & accounting business in Omaha before retiring to Branson, Missouri, in the late 1980s. She loved spending time with her family, needle working, and reading books.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Floyd Cooper and her brother, James Bair.
She is survived by her daughter, Cassy Krueger and husband Larry (Kansas City, Missouri); son, Chris Cooper (Hollister, Missouri); daughter, Cindy Hyde and husband Chris (Nixa, Missouri); and five grandchildren: Nicole Noll (Lawson, Missouri), Rachael Toney (Kansas City, Missouri), Danielle Krueger (Jupiter Florida), Britni Henderson (Nixa, Missouri), and Austin Hyde (Springfield, Missouri); and five great-grandchildren: Eddy, Izabella, Breanne, Anastyn and Kensli.
She will have a private gathering of her family to celebrate her life and will be placed with her husband in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri, at a later date.
