Jasper “Ralph” Chase Sr.

Jasper “Ralph” Chase Sr., age 85, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away June 27, 2019, in Branson, Missouri. Ralph was born May 10, 1934, in Walnut Shade, Missouri, to Ivan Lee and Beulah (Campbell) Chase. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Ralph’s life was one of hard work as a trucker, dairy farmer, welder, and cab driver. A determined man, Ralph especially loved his work as a trucker. His favorite pastime was Downstream Casino, even making trips in his final weeks.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maggie Chase; a daughter, Dorothy Heston; and a son, Chris Chase.

Ralph is survived by six children: Stephanie Heston of Hollister, Missouri; Jasper Ralph Chase Jr. of Branson West, Missouri; Michelle Perryman of Hollister, Missouri; Cecilia Egan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Tracy Chase of Branson West, Missouri; and Brian Chase of Reeds Spring, Missouri. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, 5 sisters, 2 brothers, and other family.
