Jerl “Jerry” Duke Robertson

Jerl “Jerry” Duke Robertson, age 70, of Republic, Missouri, passed away

January 9, 2021. He was born January 21, 1950, in Amarillo, Texas, the

Jerry Robertson

An outdoorsman at heart, Jerry enjoyed hunting in his earlier years. Later in

life, he could be found pursuing trout with his fly rod in the cool waters of

Bennett Springs State Park. When he was not traveling across the United

States as an over-the-road truck driver, Jerry was an avid reader and

watched NASCAR. Most of all, he loved his family and will be missed by

those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his best friend and fishing buddy,

Dan Brumbaugh and his good friend and fellow truck driver, Hugh Babione.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Jackie Robertson of the

home; a daughter, Stacey Nicole Deragowski of Dixon, Missouri; three

grandchildren: Trevor, Tylor and Destiney; three greatgrandchildren:

Gavyn, Jory, and Harmony; two sisters, Rebecca Sue Pinion and husband

Victor of Corpus Christi, Texas, Paula Kay Kelley of Willard, Missouri; his

niece, Farrah; three nephews: Justin, Larry, and Jeffrey; and his four-pound

companion and furry travel buddy of 13 years, his chihuahua, “Fancy.”

A private celebration of life will be held later this summer. Arrangements

and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To
