Kenneth Ray Chrisman
Kenneth Ray Chrisman, age 83 of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at his home.
He was born February 5, 1937 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Raymond Herbert and Helen Mae (Allen) Chrisman. On August 6, 2011 in Aurora, Missouri he was united in marriage to Delesa Dobyns, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Steve Chrisman and his wife Monica of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; three daughters, Kimberly Johnson of Springfield, Missouri, Crystal Evans of Marshfield, Missouri and Moneca Cook and her husband Clarence of Exeter, Missouri; one brother, Herb Chrisman and his wife Peggy of Illinois; one sister, Carol Poindexter of Washington; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren with two on the way.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Jeanette Lucky and Irene Bray.
Kenneth grew up in Carthage, Missouri and received his education at Prairie View School. From 1952 until 1956 he served in the United States Air Force in Greenland Tule AFB and at Whiteman AFB and was part of the Air Police. Kenneth was a life-long resident of Missouri and resided in Barry County the last fifteen years. Most of his life was spent as a self-employed tree trimmer, which he enjoyed doing. Some of his favorite pastimes were telling stories and attending rodeos.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
