Kimberly Renee Johnson
Kimberly Renee Johnson, age 56, of Branson, MO. passed away
peacefully on December 22, 2020. She was surrounded by her hospital
family and friends. Kim fought a long, hard battle against the Stage IV
ovarian cancer that finally took her from us. The amount of people who
gathered around to pay their last respects was a small testimony to the
lives she touched.

Kimmy was an extraordinary friend, sister, daughter, and a beacon of light
in the lives of everyone she met. She brought out the good in people and
welcomed everyone with love and open arms. To know Kimmy was to have
known a piece of heaven itself. She will be dearly missed and those who
love her most rejoice knowing she is home in the arms of Jesus.
Kim J worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Cox Medical Center,
Branson. She took pride in what she did and was recognized by her
patients as always having a magical way of making things better. Her joy,
humor, and love for Christmas brought on the legacy of “Elfie”, an elf on the
shelf. “Elfie Johnson” will live on as a tribute for years to come, spreading
love and smiles throughout the hospital as Kim always did.
Kim, along with her best friend, Michele Pierce, whom she shared some of
her fondest memories, loved to travel and listen to Southern Gospel music.
One of her favorites was Spoken 4 Quartet at Silver Dollar City.
Before moving to Branson, Kim worked for Logansport Memorial Hospital in
Logansport, IN. She was born July 31, 1964, in Logansport, to George and
Carol {Warner} Johnson. Her father precedes her in death. She is survived
by her mother, Carol Johnson; two sisters, Dawn Phillips and Stacie Lopez,
and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Kimberly will be held in the spring of 2021 to share
