Larry Cornelison

Graveside funeral services for Larry Dean Cornelison will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 in Nolan Cemetery, Galena, MO with Earl Grigory officiating. Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Roads Pentecostal Church. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.

Larry Cornelison

Larry was born in Harrison, AR on August 22, 1953 to Lanno and Evelyn Cornelison. He was raised in Reeds Spring and attended the Galena Schools, where he graduated in 1971. Upon graduation, Larry worked at Associated Electric where he retired in the spring of 2000. After retiring, he began work as a bus driver at Galena School until 2019. Needing something to occupy his time between bus routes, in 2005 he started work in the maintenance department for Stone County and retired from there in 2016.

Larry lived life to the fullest, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle across the country with his wife, sons and friends. He enjoyed every minute spent with family and friends golfing, canoeing, camping and fishing. He was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Ozark, MO. Larry passed away peacefully in his home on June 18th after months of battling cancer.

Larry is survived by his wife Toni of 48 years; son Daniel Cornelison and his wife Alisa and their children Rylan and Reese of Kirbyville, MO; Matthew Cornelison and wife Jenaya and their children Courtney, Caymen and Cambryn of Aurora, MO; Isaac Cornelison and his wife Annette and their children Christopher, Justin, Jordan and Isaac of Marionville, MO; Paul Cornelison and wife Michelle and their children Kayden and Whitlee of Verona, MO; his mother Evelyn Cornelison of Reeds Springs, MO; and his sister Joann Smith and husband Charles of Galena, MO. Larry was preceded in death by his father Lanno Cornelison.
