Larry Dale Henbest

Larry Dale Henbest, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 26, 1946 in Cassville, Missouri the son of Roger and Clarice (Wooten) Henbest. On December 3, 1976 in Rolla, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Vicky Riley, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Dale Henbest of Republic, Missouri; one daughter Jan Robidou and her husband Bruce of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Deanna Jenkins and her husband Jim of Springfield, Missouri and three grandchildren, Duncan, Lucas and Meredith Robidou.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Larry grew up and received his education in Cassville and was a 1964 graduate of Cassville High School. He was a life-long farmer and was also a brick mason. For twenty-one years he was pastor of Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Cassville, where he was a long-time member. Larry enjoyed Southern Gospel music and was a concert promoter for several years. He loved his family, church and farm.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 24, 2020 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Bob Gaddis, Brother Larry Lovvorn and Brother Billie Chesshir will conduct the services. Burial will be at Horner Cemetery in Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to the Missions Program at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Larry.
