Lee Wade Rusie

Lee Wade Rusie, age 66, of Green Forest, Arkansas, passed away May 7, 2021, at home with family at his bedside. He entered this life December 3, 1954, in Brentwood, Washington, the son of Arthur and Janet (Macartea) Rusie. He was joined in marriage January 20, 1988, to Bonnie Rolof.

Lee Rusie

A great husband and father, Lee had a kind heart full of love. He was an ordained Baptist minister, sharing God’s Word everywhere he went. In addition to caring for others, Lee led an active life by making time for fishing, leatherworking, and woodworking. Most of all, he was a friend to all and loved his family. Many who knew him will miss the kindness he shared.

Lee is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Rusie; two brothers: Arthur “Butch” Rusie and Jimmy Rusie; sister, Cindy Santineau; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Duke-Rusie.

His is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bonnie Rusie; son, Travis Rusie of Green Forest, Arkansas; mother, Janet Macartea of Quartz Hill, California; two sisters: Sharmy Rusie of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Sandy (Paul) Gravett of Lake Hughes, California; brother, Jay Rusie of Kenai, Alaska; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
