Mark Allen Davis
Mark Allen Davis, age 60, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, passed away November
30, 2020, at home with family by his bedside. He entered this life October 14,
1960, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Sarah (McQuaig) Davis. He was
joined in marriage February 14, 1990, to Lorie Kay DeBrosse.

Known by his family as an extreme sports enthusiast, Mark followed anything
sports and had two special teams: the San Francisco 49ers and the Michigan
Wolverines. He graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio, in 1979.
Mark had a strong work ethic and would help with any areas of need. He focused
on taking care of others before he took care of his own needs. Mark had a gift for
doing math problems and was handy at doing everyone’s taxes for them. He was
saved and baptized with a deep love for the Lord. Mark’s in-laws considered him
more than just an in-law; he was part of their own family. His dedication to family
and friends is unmatched and will leave an impact on their hearts. He will be
greatly missed.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Sarah (McQuaig) Davis;
in-laws: Joseph and Lorelei DeBrosse; and uncles: Gerald Davis and Ronald
Sheeler.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lorie Davis; son, Kyle DeBrosse of
Merriam Woods, Missouri; daughter, Sierra (Victor) Basler of Branson, Missouri;
two granddaughters: Skylee Kay and Sophie Mae; brother, Michael (Sheryl)
Davis of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Laurie (Michael) Oswald of Allen, Texas; nephews
and nieces: Connor, Kevin, Kailee, and Kaitlin; great nieces: Jaclyn and Avery;
and many other friends and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time in Toledo, Ohio. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice Compassus
( www.compassus.com ) or to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ).
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the
Ozarks.
