Maravin Prater

Marvin proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, which he joined right after graduating from Neosho High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and way too fond of pickup trucks. Marvin was a very patient teacher when it came to the two-step and the fine art of bar-b-que. He had a love for his family that was deep rooted and even for his dog, Rufus. His spirit of love will live on in family and friends in their hearts.

Marvin is survived by his son, Duane Adams of Quebec, Canada; daughter, Denise Dixon of Shaker Heights, Ohio; stepchildren: Michelle Jacobs, Alex Specht, Brad Specht, and Dawn Specht; grandchildren: Heather of Quebec, Canada, as well as Annabel, Hyde, and George of Shaker Heights, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Landon and Sutton of Quebec, Canada; sister, Patricia Connor of Cassville, Missouri; and nephews: Chad and Darren Prater of Neosho, Missouri.
