Mary Ellen LeFaivre

Mary Ellen LeFaivre, age 95, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.

Mary LeFaivre

She was born January 12, 1925 in DeWitt, Missouri the daughter of Harry E. and Josephine (Jenkins) Miller, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are family and friends who loved her dearly.

Mary graduated from high school in Brunswick, Missouri. In 1944 she was inducted in the United States Army Cadet Nurse Corp. Three years ago she moved from Carrollton, Missouri to Cassville to be near her family.

Most of her life was dedicated as a registered nurse, working as an industrial nurse. Her compassion reached out not just to people, but for the animals that crossed her path. She was a nurturer and caretaker to all. Mary was also an avid quilter and enjoyed showing & gifting her quilts to family and friends.

We don’t remember a time when she wasn’t wearing a beautiful and genuine smile. When she loved, it was with her whole heart, which is a rare, beautiful gift. We may not be able to physically sit with her anymore, but her presence remains in all our lives! We each have our own shared experiences with Mary and combined memories of a LIFE WELL LIVED!

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
