Maxine Kay Hudson
Maxine Kay Hudson, age 71, of Monett, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019, in Springfield, Missouri. She entered this world March 26, 1948, in Vallejo, California, the daughter of Marvin and Elsie (Salley) Miller. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Maxine worked for many years as a nurse in the doctor’s office, where she used her caring and loving heart. She volunteered at the voting polls and at the VFW, and even held an office at the VFW for a time. Most of all, Maxine loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. All who knew her loved her and will dearly miss her.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Hudson; sister, Sharon Miller; brother, Steve Miller; and daughter, Malissa Gregory.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna (Robert) Kirkland of Branson, Missouri; son, Michael (Elisabeth) Gordon Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; son, Kevin Wheeler of Highlandville, Missouri; George’s children: Tami (Carl Lee) Gardner of Alma, Arkansas, George (Denise) Hudson, Jr. of Monett, Missouri, Curtis (Betty) Hudson of Alma, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gregg (Kathy) Miller of Oklahoma; brother, David Miller of Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
