Michael "Mike" Ray Nipper

Michael “Mike” Ray Nipper, age 48, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019. He entered this life April 27, 1971, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Charles “Chuck” and Barbara (Chandler) Nipper. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Being diagnosed with multiple health problems at a young age, Mike did not let anything hold him back. He did everything in his power to keep going throughout his life. He graduated from Rock Island High School, Rock Island, Illinois in 1991. Mike went hunting, fishing, played wheelchair basketball, worked on his own vehicles, and did the opposite of what the doctors told him, so he would keep going. One thing is for sure, he loved his family and would worry about their problems and put his problems aside to help them. Many memories have been made over the years that will stay with his family forever.

Mike is survived by his mother and father, Barbara and Chuck Nipper of Moline, Illinois; daughter, April Nipper of San Diego, California; son, Austin Nipper of Forsyth, Missouri; son, Dylan Nipper of Forsyth, Missouri; sister, Angie (Steve) Peters of Colorado; brother, Chad Nipper of Illinois; grandchildren, Alayah and Mason Nipper; second parents, (who have been there since day 1) Connie and Jimmy Lawver of Milan, Illinois; nephews, Devin and Darrin Sierra; and Jennifer (Terkleson) Nipper, who Mike married and they celebrated a long and loving marriage.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be planned in Illinois. The family would like memorial contributions to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www. support.woundedwarriorproject.org). To leave an online condolence, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com.
