Michael Ross “Mike” Hart

Michael Ross “Mike” Hart, age 68, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at his home.

He was born February 11, 1952 in Monett, Missouri the son of Clyde and Mary E. (Walker) Hart, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, James Clinton Hart, Robert Lee Hart and Douglas Clyde Hart and one niece, Kayla Hart.

Surviving are two sisters, Sandra Sue Aaron and her husband Larry of Rogers, Arkansas and Jane Hart Cowherd of Springfield, Missouri; eight nieces and nephews, Melinda Gibson, Robin Coggins, Carolyn Gillett, Wesley Hart, Rees Cowherd, Zacary Hart, Ryan Hart and Haley Hart and several great nieces and nephews.

Mike received his education in Cassville and graduated from Cassville High School. He was a Boy Scout earning the Order of the Arrow Badge. He was baptized at the First Christian Church in Cassville. He had worked in Jefferson City, Missouri for a while in Construction and around 1980 moved back to Cassville and worked at Rex’s Restaurant. For several years he was employed at Wal-Mart as a door greeter. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting, he was an excellent marksman and he enjoyed telling stories. In his neighborhood he was known for helping his neighbors whenever they needed something. Mike never met a stranger and he loved kids.

Per Mike’s request no services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. His ashes will be buried at Wise Hill Cemetery in Clever, Missouri.
