Oralew “Pinky” Pinkerman

Oralew “Pinky” Pinkerman, age 86, of Buffalo, Missouri, passed away January 16, 2020, in Bolivar, Missouri. He entered this life October 21, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Lewis and Ora (McGuire) Pinkerman. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Outgoing and personable, Oralew enjoyed meeting and chatting with new people. Escaping to the great outdoors, Pinky often went on walks, fishing adventures, and outings to sell fireworks. Pinky was a member of the Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Buffalo, Missouri. He got to know many people over the years, and those lives were touched by him. He will be greatly missed.

Pinky is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rebecca Hirt; ex-wife, Carylon Pinkerman; brother-in-law, Elmer Von Erwin; half-brother, Billy Herd; and biological mother, Helen Marie Talla.

He is survived by his daughter, Carylon (Ed) Hall of Elkland, Missouri; daughter, Donna Hall of Humansville, Missouri; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Everett (Betty) Pinkerman of Sugar Creek, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; cousin, Eric Talla of Oklahoma and 5 stepchildren.
