Patricia Ann Kimmel
Patricia Ann Kimmel, age 83, of Branson, Missouri, passed away August 12, 2020 peacefully at her home with family at her bedside. She entered this life July 26, 1937, in Essex, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Portia (Whitledge) Ellis. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Patti was the epitome of a world traveler. She enjoyed people, food and culture wherever she went. Throughout her life, she lived in Chile, Australia, Trinidad, Texas, and Missouri. She had a very successful career as an emergency room head nurse, while living in Shreveport, Louisiana before she retired and moved home to Advance. Patti had an amazing sense of humor and was a family historian. Her storytelling skills were legendary, and she could command an audience for hours regaling tales of her life. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, was an avid reader, and loved everything old Hollywood and entertainment related. Patti touched the hearts of many throughout her life and provided fond memories that her friends and family will cherish forever. She will be greatly missed.
Patti is preceded in death by her parents; two infant siblings; two sisters: Barbara Merriman and Linda Freudenstein; and husband, Keith Kimmel.
She is survived by her brother, W.C. Ellis of Bronson, Texas; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her friends and church family.
